Location, Location, Location!!!

Stayed at the Sand Dollar Inn, Room #1 (Studio), family stayed in Room #2 (two queen beds in one room with seperate kitchen. This hotel is VERY spartan, basic, yet comfortable, and clean. REMOTE location!!

Old fridge made a strange noise occasionally. The room my family stayed in was great, spacious, and had a seperate kitchen area that had enough room for 5 to sit around the table and talk comfortably. Again, no frills, only bar soap, no shampoo/conditioner.

No telephone in the room and the cell phone reception is pretty spotty, however, I was able to reach who I needed AND even upload some photos. As far as the hotel, it has simple, clean accommodations and friendly staff.

Will try and stay in the penthouse upon return as it has ocean views. No ocean view from either #1 or #2, however the beach is a <5 minutes walk and the beach is gorgeous, clean and very sparsely populated.

My partner is disabled and he was able to walk it. First there is about a block of gravely road and then a sandy winding path through greenery to the beach. Would definitely stay here again when in the area. Price was terrific.

Make sure and bring coolers with food/drinks, as the few grocery places are marked up considerably and there is NO fast food. This is a great place if you want to get away from it all and aren't worried about frills. Make sure to go south about a mile or so to Seabrook and take the staircase down to the beach there.

Spectacular wide beach and stunning sea cliffs. Would glady go back! – Anonymous, Portland, OR
